Works in progress and a lot of waiting

I had collected things while hiking or exploring in the old buildings, nature keeps being my main inspiration, specially when it looks so different to what I saw in my tropical country many years ago. 

Those dried branches where somewhere and kept them in a vase until I decided to pull them down and learn its pattern, texture and curves. 

The tile is already cut and dried, along with other tiles. I can't wait for the first firing in this studio, the vents are not installed yet, I must wait, that's ok if something we ceramicists had learned well enough is patience! Meanwhile I keep working on more designs.
