I really loved to work on this pet portrait, I think she came up pretty good for my first time. While I was working I thought about how fun would be to have a dog like Mellie, she is beautiful.
Next step, waiting to bone dry to fire, paint and mount, yes I'm only half way done.

If you ever get a Dog like my Mellie you will totally know what love is! She was the best dog ever! I missed her so much.. I am glad that you captured her beauty.. Specially her little nose.. just love what you have done! I can wait to get it home and show to all my pet lovers friends and what a surprise my husband will have.. You have no idea what this means to Us!!..
